Large decorative religious relief depicting The Last Supper of Jesus Christ with the Twelve Apostles.

An impressive three-dimensional composition with numerous finely modelled details, including the figures, garments, table setting, vessels, architectural columns and decorative elements.

The relief has a silver/metallic appearance with darker patinated areas that emphasise the depth and details of the scene. At the bottom is the Portuguese inscription “ULTIMA CEIA DE JESUS”, meaning “The Last Supper of Jesus”.

The work is presented in an elaborate gold-tone ornamental frame, decorated with classical floral and scroll motifs. The contrast between the silver-toned relief and the gilt frame gives the piece a striking traditional appearance.
