The kilim has a rustic, authentic appearance and shows significant signs of age and use. There are several tears, holes, damaged and missing sections, loose threads, fraying and areas requiring restoration. Both ends are particularly worn and frayed, and the central joining/seam is visible. There are also variations and some fading in the colours consistent with age and use.
