Overview A sporty all-black Seiko 5: black-coated stainless steel case with a black fixed bezel carrying a 5–60 scale, a black dial with applied bar indices tipped with luminous dots (double bar at 12 o'clock), luminous dauphine hands, a red central seconds hand and a day-date window at 3 o'clock with the day shown in English as pictured (Sunday in red). The dial is signed SEIKO 5 (shield emblem) / WATER 50M RESIST / AUTOMATIC / 21 JEWELS. Black-coated recessed crown at 4 o'clock and an exhibition case back showing the Seiko 7S26C movement. The main point to note is the black coating on the bracelet: several links (including centre links and the links next to the clasp) show chips where the coating has come away and the bare metal shows through. The bezel shows rubbing and fine scratches concentrated around the 55–05 area at the top, with the base metal faintly showing, and its numerals have taken on a slightly cream tone. The crystal shows a few horizontal line scratches around the 9–10 o'clock (45-minute) area and a small curved mark near 12 o'clock. The case sides show fine scratches, with small knocks and thinning of the coating on the lug corners. The dial, hands and luminous material are clean with no discolouration (a few tiny dust specks are visible). No rust found. Please refer to the photos, which form part of the condition description.
