This example is upholstered in black leather across the seat and backrest, with polished die-cast aluminium armrests fitted with leather pads. The chair’s synchronised movement allows individual adjustment of backrest resistance, and the design is notable for achieving ergonomic comfort without a complex visible mechanism — a hallmark of Meda’s engineering-driven design approach. The chair retains its original Vitra manufacturer’s label (dated 2006) and original instruction booklet, both included. Condition: Visible wear to the leather at one armrest edge (see detail photo). Frame and base show minor surface scratches typical of age and office use; swivel and tilt mechanism function normally.
