A well-preserved example of a Hala Zeist architect’s desk lamp, distinguished by its restrained functionalist design and articulated construction. The lamp features two pivot points, allowing the arm to be positioned with considerable flexibility. The cylindrical lamp head rotates independently, directing illumination precisely as required. The design is executed throughout in painted white metal, complemented by a circular weighted base. The lamp is marked with a Hala Zeist label, consistent with its Dutch manufacture. Condition: Good used condition, with light surface wear and minor signs of age and use consistent with the period.
