SERVING The use of extra virgin olive oil requires no preparation or treatment. It can be consumed raw in salads and appetizers or cooked with foods that provide flavor. HISTORY Casa Relvas was born from the desire to continue the history of a family linked to the land for five generations, across two continents. This family project was started in 1997 in São Miguel de Machede, in Redondo, by Alexandre Relvas, who saw in the Herdade de São Miguel the vast horizons of his roots in Africa. Our passion for the Alentejo region and our respect for its unique and genuine nature led us to take the first step with the traditional montado afforestation. But it was in the vineyard, a crop with over 2000 years of history in the region, that we discovered our true calling. It is the celebration of life that inspires us daily to produce Casa Relvas wines. Our mission is to produce quality wines to accompany every moment of life, wines capable of making the pleasure of a meal, celebration, gathering of friends, or the reliving of memories of good times special.
