The Sheaffer Targa 1038 Green Ronce is a distinctive vintage fountain pen finished in a rich green lacquer with a marbled ronce pattern that gives the surface depth and variation under the light. The decorative lacquer contrasts with the Targa’s clean cylindrical profile and polished metal trim, creating a more expressive appearance than the plain metal versions of the series. It is fitted with Sheaffer’s characteristic inlaid gold nib and uses the practical cartridge/converter filling system. With its combination of textured lacquer, classic Targa proportions and signature inlaid nib, the 1038 Green Ronce is one of the more visually distinctive finishes in the Targa range. This example is in very good, pre-owned condition, and has been carefully cleaned. Imperfections: light scratches and marks, mostly caused by posting the cap. Converter is not included.
