卖家的描述
A sensual bronze sculpture of a standing nude female named 'Eve'.
This sculpture shows Eve despairing after the Fall. It is made after the great work of the famous French sculptor Auguste Rodin (1840-1917). This would be the first free-standing female sculpture Rodin had produced since the destruction of his Bacchante in an accident between 1864 and 1870. It was first exhibited to the public at the 'Salon des Beaux Arts in Paris in 1899.
It is made of a great quality bronze that wears a dark patina. And is mounted on a marble base.
Dimensions: 30 x 10 x 10 cm
Weight: 2.2 kg
Signature: A. Rodin
Numbered: yes.
Foundry stamp: yes.
Condition: excellent (see images)
A beautiful piece of art!
