A rare Igbo Ofo staff of Authority: A carved wooden staff decorated with hand hammered iron designs and a large iron semi-spherical headdress. This staff is known as an "Ofo" which is a ritual symbol of authority among the Igbo. According to literature this is the supreme ancestral symbol, the staff of traditional authority and influence as well as the symbol of justice, truth and right living.
