Amethyst Geode Egg – Polished Exterior with Natural Crystal Cavity An elegant Amethyst geode shaped into an egg-like freeform, combining a smooth polished exterior with a large natural crystal cavity left open to reveal the specimen’s internal structure. The polished sections display soft lavender to pale violet tones, with gentle translucency and subtle internal zoning. Along the edges of the cavity, the amethyst coloration becomes more visible, creating a delicate contrast with the lighter crystalline interior. The open face is densely covered with numerous fine, sparkling quartz and amethyst crystal points. Their reflective terminations create a bright druzy surface, while subtle cream and warm golden mineral traces add further variation and depth to the crystallized area. One of the most attractive features of the piece is the contrast between the rounded, polished outer surface and the completely natural crystal cavity. This interplay between smooth lapidary work and untouched crystallization gives the specimen a strong sculptural character and makes it visually interesting from multiple angles.
