Electro-Harmonix MEL9 Tape Replay Machine

The Mel9 transforms your guitar or bass into an authentic Mellotron, without MIDI or special pickups. Nine iconic tape voices—such as Strings, Choir, Flute, and Cello—are reproduced realistically. Attack and Sustain controls determine the effect of instant attack or gradual build-up. Dry and Effect knobs blend the original and sampled sound. Ideal for progressive rock, ambient, and film music: the Mel9 revives classic tape warmth in a modern pedal.
