DESCRIPTION

The Accutron 214 Spaceview is one of the most recognisable watches of its era: no dial, just Bulova's electronic tuning fork movement on full display. Instead of a balance wheel, a tuning fork vibrating at 360 Hz drives the hands. The result is a perfectly smooth sweeping seconds hand and the famous soft hum you can hear when you hold the watch to your ear.

This Spaceview has the classic open look with the tuning fork logo and Accutron print on the green bridges, white hands and luminous green dot markers around the edge. The stainless steel case is paired with a black leather strap.

Please note: this is a Spaceview conversion. It started life as a regular Accutron 214 with a dial and was later converted to the Spaceview look, as was commonly done.

The case carries the N0 date code, dating it to 1970. Serial number A-41556.

Very good overall condition for its age.
The watch runs perfectly and has been regulated.
