Item Description:
A Japanese vintage Sailor pocket fountain pen combining a glossy black body with a brushed silver-tone metal cap. A band of black and silver checks encircles the cap near its opening, giving the understated design a distinctive geometric accent.

The elongated cap and short barrel create a compact silhouette when closed. With the cap posted on the back, the pen takes on a longer, slender profile. The narrow silver-tone clip follows the cap’s clean lines, while the polished trim at the barrel joint adds a subtle contrast to the black body.

The pointed 14K gold nib is framed by the tapered black grip section. The nib bears a “14K” marking, and the cap is engraved “SAILOR” and “JAPAN.” Its combination of a gold nib, monochrome detailing and compact proportions offers an appealing example of Japanese vintage pen design.
