[Accessories] Before and After the Cap [Key Specifications] This is Nikon’s classic standard prime lens, the AF Nikkor 50mm f/1.4D. Introduced in 1995 as an AF-D type 50mm f/1.4 lens, this model was sold for many years as a fast standard lens for the Nikon F mount. Thanks to its large f/1.4 aperture, it is well-suited for shooting in low-light conditions and for portraits with a heavily blurred background. The natural 50mm angle of view makes it versatile for a wide range of applications, including portrait photography, candid shots, and everyday photography. The autofocus system uses a screw-drive mechanism powered by the camera body’s motor, allowing for autofocus operation on compatible Nikon AF camera bodies. As a D-type lens, it can transmit focusing distance information to compatible cameras. This product comes with a protective filter and a lens cap.
