Vintage Industrial Aluminum Butcher's Meat Rack / Coat Rack "Dents de Loup" (10 Hooks) – 1960s - Width 101 cm
A striking and authentic 1960s industrial butcher's meat rack, salvaged from a European butcher's shop. Manufactured from heavy-quality cast aluminum, this original piece features eight iconic upward-curving "Dents de Loup" (Wolf Teeth) hooks, designed to support heavy cuts of meat in commercial environments.
Today these rare industrial racks are highly sought after as statement interior pieces. Perfect as an oversized coat rack, kitchen utensil rail, or towel rack, combining functional design with genuine industrial character.
Cast aluminum makes the rack exceptionally strong, lightweight and completely rust-proof. The original satin finish and honest signs of use give it an authentic vintage appearance.
In excellent vintage condition with normal age-related wear. Structurally sound and ready for use.
Industrial butcher equipment from the 1950s and 1960s is increasingly appreciated for its minimalist functional design and durable construction. Original examples like this have become popular in loft, industrial and contemporary interiors.
