Chinese Copper-Bodied Painted Enamel Snuff Bottle – Qing Dynasty – Yongzheng Mark A Chinese copper-bodied painted enamel snuff bottle from the Qing dynasty, bearing a four-character “Yongzheng Nian Zhi” (雍正年制) mark on the base. The four sides are finely painted in blue on a white enamel ground, depicting mountainous landscapes with flowing water, pavilions and terraces, a scholar playing the qin, and a fisherman in a small boat. The delicate brushwork captures intricate details of the mountains, trees, architecture and figures. Decorative borders frame the landscape scenes, complemented by scrolling motifs around the neck. The bottle is fitted with a domed floral cloisonné stopper with turquoise-blue, green, yellow and white enamels and a decorative metal collar. Height: 8.5 cm. Weight: 81 g. Condition: Age-related surface wear and patina to the metal fittings, with irregularities along the enamel edges around the neck and foot. A small reddish-brown spot is visible on one side.
