A solid cast-iron door stop in the shape of a little owl perched atop a wedge base. The owl's rounded body, large eyes and textured feathers are all cast in relief — charming enough to be a decorative object, weighty enough to hold even a heavy door open.
The dark brown aged finish evokes traditional English country-house hardware, where functional items like door stops and boot scrapers were cast in iron and ornamented with animals. It works equally well on wooden floors, stone thresholds or tiled hallways.
Material: Cast iron
Style: Country / vintage
Color: Natural cast iron
