Herstal is known by everyone, and in the 1990/2000's they where a common brand in all Danish homes. In 2008 Hertsal merged with Belid Lighting Group, from Sweden. All Belid lamps are crafted, painted, and packaged in Sweden. Mikael Berlin is a Swedish industrial and product designer known for creating minimalist modern lighting and furniture collections, notably collaborating with Scandinavian design brands like Herstal.
