I Antique White Linen Bed Linen – Bold T.A. Monogram in High-Relief Embroidery

This is a particularly handsome piece of white linen bed linen, distinguished not only by the strength and quality of its fabric, but, above all, by the boldness and richness of its embroidery.

The initials T.A. are magnificently hand-embroidered in pronounced high relief, standing proudly against the white linen background. Their substantial embroidery gives the piece a remarkable presence and makes the monogram a striking focal point.

The surrounding design is equally impressive. Two rows of oval garlands create an elegant and carefully balanced composition. The upper row features floral decorations, culminating in a delicate wheat-sheaf motif, while beneath it runs a garland of small, pearl-like medallions, adding a further layer of refinement.

The entire design is framed by four rows of fine open-thread work, which continue along the sides for approximately 50 cm, providing an elegant transition between the embroidered decoration and the plain linen.

The generous width of 2.40 metres is another important advantage. It will comfortably dress a bed measuring at least 1.80 metres wide, and potentially wider, allowing the linen to fall gracefully on either side.
