Enhance your collection with this breath-taking, rare antique Victorian-era opalescent glass footed compote centerpiece. Expertly crafted in the late 19th century or early 19th century, this two-tone art glass masterpiece features a striking milky-white pedestal foot transitioning into a sky-blue satin interior. The deeply ruffled, crimped border is tipped with a mesmerizing vibrant green glass edge that responds brilliantly under UV light due to its historic uranium content. This piece is constructed with an integrated center-hole design, which traditionally accommodated an upper tier glass epergne trumpet or a matching decorative finial attachment. A stunning example of late Victorian craftsmanship, it serves as an imposing standalone table centerpiece or fruit bowl. Photos are part of the description.
