Longwy - 餐桌用具 (31) - 陶器

Longwy 31-piece tableware set in faience. French manufacture renowned for the quality of its ceramic productions. This service is distinguished by its cut octagonal shapes, bright white base, and central decor of polychrome flowering baskets. The baskets are drawn in dark blue and filled with flowers and foliage in varied tones: green, pink, violet, red and yellow. The decor features several floral arrangements, while keeping the same stylized basket motif and overall harmony. The geometric lines of the plates harmonize with the decorative aesthetics of the early 20th century. The reverse of certain pieces bears the marking “Corbeille – Longwy,” accompanied by a crowned coat of arms. A circular embossed stamp is also visible on some pieces.
