Germany, mid-20th century Glazed porcelain with relief decoration An elegant German porcelain table service from the renowned Sanssouci collection by Rosenthal, celebrated for its refined Rococo-inspired modelling and timeless decorative language. Executed in crisp white glazed porcelain, the service is enriched with finely moulded relief borders and delicate floral decoration in soft purple tones. The floral motifs, composed of stylised roses and blossoms, are thoughtfully placed at the centre and along the rims, creating a harmonious dialogue between sculptural form and graphic delicacy. The characteristic Sanssouci relief draws its inspiration from the ornate stucco ceilings of the Sanssouci Palace in Potsdam. The ensemble comprises a well-balanced selection of tableware and serving pieces, suitable for formal dining, entertaining, or delightful everyday use.
