A Japanese bronze vase featuring two handles, designed in the slender *yuhuchun* (pear-shaped) style. The neck is adorned with twin-dragon handles, lending the piece an air of classical elegance and dignity. The bronze body is substantial and heavy in the hand, finished with a "green-spotted" patina—a glaze-like surface scattered with intricate, multicolored flecks that shift and shimmer as the light changes. The body is further embellished with a gilded, sixteen-petaled chrysanthemum emblem—a classic motif.
Dimensions: Height 27 cm, body diameter 10 cm, rim diameter 4.1 cm.
This vintage piece is in excellent condition, showing only minor signs of wear consistent with its age; it is free of cracks or structural damage. It is an ideal decorative object for a tearoom, study, or display shelf—perfect for *ikebana* (floral arrangements) or as a fine addition to a collection of bronze ware. (The wooden base shown in the photograph is not included.)
