Up for auction: An exceptional and prestigious collector bottle of ultra-premium Venezuelan rum: Diplomatico Ambassador Selection. Created by Master Blender Tito Cordero at the foot of the Andes Mountains in Venezuela, this is the pinnacle flagship expression in the entire Diplomatico portfolio. Ambassador Selection is crafted entirely from pot still rums distilled from virgin sugar cane honey. The rum is initially aged for a minimum of 12 years in white oak ex-bourbon casks, followed by a finishing period of two additional years in hand-selected Spanish Pedro Ximenez (PX) sherry casks. To preserve its richness, depth, and aromatics, it is bottled at 47% ABV with no chill filtration and without any caramel or sugar additions. Presented in an imposing heavy glass decanter adorned with an embossed gold medallion of Don Juancho Nieto Melendez, a heavy golden metal stopper with wire muselet and silver "D" seal, and housed inside its bespoke leather-grained presentation box with fold-open display doors. A complex sensory journey offering notes of dried fruits, dark raisins, pipe tobacco, rich dark chocolate, toasted hazelnuts, cinnamon spice, and a velvety oak finish. A centerpiece bottle for discerning rum connoisseurs and serious spirits collectors. --- INCLUDED IN THIS LOT: * 1x Diplomatico Ambassador Selection Rum (700 ml | 47% ABV) * Original luxury presentation display case with double doors --- LOT SPECIFICATIONS & CONDITION: * Brand / Distillery: Destilerias Unidas S.A.
