A delightful set of solid heavy gilt brass bull and bear figurines, measuring circa 12,5cm and 9,5cm in length and together weighing 1348g, published by the trading platform Saxo Bank as a small edition gift to their corporate partners, probably at their inauguration in 2001 after receiving a banking licence and transitioning from the brokerage Midas to the international Saxo Bank they are today. As no other such figurines are available on the open market and there is no public historical record of these premium gifts, it is fair to label them as "rare". Stock traders and investors will be familiar with the bull and bear theme as these are symbols of optimism and pessimism respectively, as it relates to the direction of the equity markets. Condition: Very good, no damages or repairs. Minor wear commensurate with age. See pictures for an impression. The screw hole beneath the foot suggests they were mounted on a board at some point but the statues look better on their own, in my opinion.
