一件优雅且精心打造的英王乔治三世风格的书桌书柜（书桌柜）古董，年代大致在20世纪前半段（约1920-1950年）。
The piece is constructed from solid wood with rich mahogany/walnut veneers, displaying a beautiful wood grain throughout.
• Upper Section: Features a bookcase/display cabinet with two doors adorned with classic geometric astragal glazing. The interior offers spacious shelving.
• Middle Section (Bureau): The slant-front fallboard opens to reveal a traditional fitted interior ("nest") with open pigeonholes for letters and two small drawers. The writing surface is lined with its original dark green faux-leather/skiver insert featuring a gold-tooled decorative border.
• Lower Section: Comprises three large, full-width drawers fitted with traditional brass circular drop handles.
• Base: Supported by elegant, slender cabriole legs terminating in pad feet, characteristic of Queen Anne and Georgian revival designs.
Condition Report:
The piece is in good overall structural and aesthetic condition with a beautiful patina. Minor age-related wear is present. Please note that a few interior wooden divider slats from the bureau nest have detached but are present inside and can be easily glued back. Key is included.
