This painting represents a small group of rural houses located at the foot of a long forested slope, in a tranquil mountain landscape full of vegetation. In the foreground, a serene stream makes its way through the grasses and shrubs, reflecting some bluish tones of the sky and guiding the eye toward the houses. The houses, with light-colored walls and reddish roofs, appear grouped in the center and to the right, partially surrounded by bushes and small trees. Their presence adds a warm, human touch to an environment dominated by the deep green of the forest and the vastness of the mountains.

The constructions seem simple and connected to rural life. Their façades, in ochre, pink and cream tones, stand out among the vegetation, while the sloped and somewhat irregular roofs suggest traditional homes integrated into the landscape.
