Seated figure with wrathful facial features and third eye on forehead, adorned with crown and neck ornaments. The belly is full, the lotus base finely carved. The top of the crown has a slight bend. Retains original sealed base engraved with cross vajra motif, worn gilding and original pigments remain. Yellow Jambhala, the foremost of the Five Wealth Deities in Tibetan Buddhism, blesses devotees with prosperity and dispels poverty. The carved cross vajra on the base symbolizes indestructible Dharma protection.
