Offered for sale is an extensive and varied collection of approximately 10,800 matchbox labels, matchboxes and matchbooks, predominantly dating from the mid-20th century.

The collection provides a fascinating glimpse into the history of advertising, graphic design and popular culture in the Netherlands, Belgium and Japan. It includes colourful vintage advertising designs, illustrated series and traditional matchbox packaging.

1. **Japan – approximately 600 labels.** A collection of 20th-century Japanese matchbox labels featuring a variety of designs.
2. **Belgium – approximately 2,400 labels.** An extensive collection of Belgian matchbox labels featuring various advertising designs and themes.
