Vintage Smiths Enfield English Mechanical Mantel Clock – Circa 1940–1950

A charming vintage mechanical mantel clock manufactured by the renowned British clockmaker Smiths Enfield, England.

This attractive clock features a beautifully shaped dark wooden case, an elegant circular dial with raised gold-tone Roman numerals, ornate decorative hands and a brass-tone bezel.

The dial is clearly marked “Smiths Enfield – Made in England”.

The clock is fitted with a traditional mechanical winding movement, featuring a pendulum and spiral gong striking mechanism.

A particularly interesting feature is the original-looking engraved presentation plaque mounted on the front of the case, adding historical character to the piece.
