DEGUÉ A beautiful French 1930 nickel plated solid brass art deco lamp. A nicely shaped art deco base holds a shade by Degué the famous glass company from Paris directed by David Guéron with its factories in Compiègne. Degué started the firm in 1926 and production stopped in 1936. It finally closed down in ´39. The shade is done in very thick molded-pressed frosted glass. The lamp and its shade are in excellent condition. It is 39 cm high. I have replated and patinated the base. And the lamp comes rewired with new twisted rayon covered cord, new plug and switch. I will place a modern E14 socket so you can use our normal light bulbs for it. On catawiki my listings have low reserve prices. I offer no aftersales when the reserve is not met.
