This is a delightful antique Edwardian two tier mahogany and satinwood crossbanded Sutherland table, dating from the last quarter of the 20th century. A Sutherland table is a form of drop leaf table which has a top that is shallow so as not to occupy a lot of space when not needed, it has flaps which open up to make a small table when required. The top surface is upholstered with green leather.
