Carbonaceous chondrites, or type C chondrites, are chondrites (undifferentiated meteorites) rich in carbon (hence the letter C indicating the type), and in which the iron is mainly oxidized (present in silicates in the state oxidation II and not in the metallic phases in state 0). Their parent bodies are probably C-type asteroids. As members of the IMCA (International Association of Meteorite Collectors), we guarantee the authenticity of all our pieces.
