A fine example of an 19th-century Ottoman yatagan. As is customary with many yatagan swords, it features, adorned with red stones. The ricasso is embellished with metal onlays and additional red stones. The leather scabbard is fitted with a chape and locket made of brass or copper.
Dimensions: Blade – 53 by 3.5 cm; Hilt – 15 cm; Scabbard – 61 cm.
