1870(c)Hand Made Masonic Golden Glob "Gold on Silver" Masonic Orb * Orb weighs approx 8g *Length (when opened) approx 42mm x 32mm *Made in England *Body- 9ct Gold on Silver *Clamp- 9ct solid Gold A Intricate Masonic Orb – also known as a Golden Globe & Cross Fob or a Masonic Ball. It can be worn as a pocket watch fob, as a charm on a bracelet, or as a pendant either closed (ball) or open in the shape of a 5 pointed star – “The Order of the Eastern Star”. When open the orb reveals 6 Pyramids all decorated with Masonic symbols on each face, smooth to the touch. Each pyramid is held to its neighbour by secure hinges and secured by 3 arms which constitutes its holder, when closed. The holder features a jump ring making it easy to wear as a fob on a watch chain, a pendant or charm on a bracelet. Orb is Made in England, fully hallmarked and fully functional.
