Forword: It's becoming more and more challenging to find a "100% functional" Vintage Apple/Macintosh PLUS ! Especially in "VERY GOOD CONDITION" & "FULLY RECAPED". FYI. This will be the "last" PLUS that I will auction this summer! Being an Apple enthusiast, I have collected RARE and VALUABLE hardware and software for my co-sentimental Apple companions. The lucky Macintosh Apple enthusiast can supplement his/her collection with this legendary collector's item: the “Macintosh PLUS”. UNIQUE to this particular computer are “the engraved signatures” of the original Macintosh team - including the signature of “STEVE JOBS” - inside the CASE. The Macintosh team found the original Macintosh ART - and they saw themselves as ARTISTS. When you open “the case”, you understand why. This is the third model in the Macintosh line, introduced January 16, 1986 - two years after the original Macintosh (1984) and one year after the Macintosh 512K. Price tag at the time was US $ 2599 (equivalent of $ 6,062 in 2020). // IMPORTANT – WHY BUY FROM ME? (instead of other sellers) I am a Mac user from way back in the Legacy Era. I offer Vintage Apple computers as I would buy them myself. My admiration for Steve Jobs' legacy is so great that I want the Macs I sell, to stand "the test of time". Furthermore I only sell items I have "passion" for. Hardware-wise, all my sold computers are completely disassembled, (deep) cleaned – and, if necessary, repaired – in order to extend their lifespan. See pictures. // ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST & BATTERY ACID – DUST: the inside of a 30-year-old computer (and keyboard and mouse) looks the same as "the collection-container of a vacuum cleaner" (read: a dust bunny). And as you know "dust" can ruin your electronics; – LEAKS: 30-year-old batteries will someday leak, causing irreversible damage to the computer. The battery is removed (FYI: online you can buy a new 4.5V battery for date/time settings. Please let me know if you need help finding the right battery, however a battery is not required to use this computer). To preserve the computer for the future it is even better to not place a new battery; – BOARD REVISION: both boards (analog logic) were revised (thus: the non-functioned electrolytic capacitors were replaced). – REFURBISHED: the floppy drive is refurbished. This includes "floppy drive lubrication". Therefore the "internal floppy drive" works like a charm (formatting, reading and writing disks and of-course ejecting*). Usually the "EJECT* mechanism" fails. So the famous paperclip method is NOT needed for this Mac! Thus: SERVICED and totally functional floppy drive. Long-Story Short. Computers from other vendors may look the same on the outside. I can guarantee you that the inside is very different! So if you want to enjoy your investment for as long as possible, choosing "wisely" is advisable. // GERM-FREE "RARE" M0110A KEYBOARD & M0100 MOUSE The Macintosh comes with the accompanying keyboard and mouse. Those objects alone are already worth a fortune on auction websites. The keyboard (and mouse) are completely disassembled and cleaned professionally (see pictures). In my opinion it is my responsibility (as a seller) to provide a Germ-Free keyboard (a 2018 study found that 96% of the keyboards were contaminated with bacteria). So, I think we can agree that nobody wants a nasty, infected keyboard. Extra information: – ALL KEYS WORK! (lot of vintage keyboard's don't fully work – this one is "fully repaired")! Be aware that some keys needs to be pressed harder (furthermore: after not using the keyboard for a long time "harder pressure" on the keys is sometimes needed to make "contact"). // CUSTOMIZE YOUR SET-UP: ENGLISH or FRENCH KEYBOARD Choose an English or French keyboard (English the default!) … and English or French Operating System. Although "English" (QWERTY) keyboard – and English Operating System is the default, I thought it was time to serve my "French"-speaking Apple colleagues too. You can also choose the exceptional AZERTY keyboard instead (and the accompanying "French Operating System"). "French-speaking Apple fans" … this is your chance ;) FYI: the software is ALWAYS "English"! "MacWrite" and "MacPaint" were two original "killer applications" that propelled the adoption and popularity of the Mac in particular. Disclaimer: The computer only includes software & games that is classified as "abandonware" ( from the Public Domain, distributed over the internet and available freely, easily and readily). The software is supplied "free of charge" as a free service (for the retro-computing fan). The floppy disk is a digital copy of the original Plus 800 kb floppy disk. // 800 KB FLOPPIES (NEW OLD STOCK) I ALWAYS use brand-new-(800Kb)-floppies to copy "system & software". Therefore the color is subject to availability at the time of payment. Floppy color can be "blue, black or white". // WHAT MAKES THIS VINTAGE APPLE EVEN MORE SPECIAL? The Macintosh Plus was the last classic Mac to feature a “telephone cord-like port” - on the front of the device - for the keyboard; as well as the “DE-9 connector” for the mouse (later models would use ADB ports). That makes this Apple Computer extremely RARE and EXCEPTIONAL … and therefore a good investment. FYI: The RARE keyboard and mouse, they alone are worth the bid (check other websites for their prices)! Normal signs of use and wear. But as an experienced connoisseur I can guarantee that these items are in VERY GOOD condition (always keeping in mind their age). The numerous images are part of the meticulous description. Thus: judge yourself! PS/ this is not a modern computer (but a collectable & investment). Inform yourself (Google it!) about the possibilities of this pre-internet device. 
// IMPORTANT – A NOTE ON YELLOWED PLASTICS!
 Some words on the yellowing.

 Old computer cases are made of ABS plastics which contain at that time "BROMINE". The element bromine reacts over the time of years with UV light and causes (not-even) "yellowing"*. The bromine yellowing is not even. I mean. Some parts age differently. Take into account the fact that the plastic case shows "some stains" en "cosmetical imperfections" that are unfortunately difficult to capture (on photo). But they are there! 
Please, if you find the aforementioned "stains" and "imperfections" a problem, it is recommended that you do NOT bid on this item. Again … the yellowed plastic* is not easy to capture on camera (and some pictures show (because of the specific lightning) a more positive feel than reality. FYI. The picture "this bundle is auctioned" gives the best representation of this bundle. FYI/ Experienced collectors love the "aging-bromine-yellowing". You can compare it with "patina" on vintage furnitures. For connoisseurs it transforms the-surface-of-a-piece from the ordinary to the exceptional – and it tells a story … and brings on the appeal of objects that show their age openly. But again … it is important to know that this specific Mac has PATINA. Be aware. All mechanical parts make more noice than you are use to, compared with modern equipment. But this is “normal” behavior. Obviously this is a 30 year old machine. The speed is therefore corresponding. FYI: When the computer has not been used for a long time, the CRT screen may be vibrate a little. That is "normal" vintage CRT behaviour.
