This fully automatic Technics SL-D3 Direct-Drive turntable is in great condition. It was serviced in September 2025 and works like new. Included is the original Technics 270C cartridge with stylus. The turntable looks wonderful and sounds excellent. The SL-D3 is a fully automatic direct drive model, offering reliable performance and easy operation. A unique feature is the automatic memo-repeat function, which allows you to choose between continuous play or any selection from 0 to 6 repeats. It also features a size selection switch (7", 10", 12"), a speed switch (33 / 45 rpm), pitch control, and automatic start/stop operation. As a fully automatic model, the SL-D3 handles cueing, return and lift automatically, but also allows full manual operation when preferred. The unit is in very nice condition overall. The base looks fresh and very clean. The dustcover is clear and smooth to the touch, showing only light surface wear and marks consistent with age and handling. The original hinges hold the lid open in standing position. During servicing the entire mechanism and all moving parts were cleaned and relubricated, the pitch controls were cleaned and the turntable was speed adjusted for perfect rpm. All contacts were cleaned and the automatic tone-arm start and stop was recalibrated. The turntable runs perfectly stable, accurately on speed (33/45) and all functionalities work great. Included are the original Technics 270C cartridge with stylus in tested good condition, a printed photocopy of the user manual, the original anti-static mat, the original counter-weight, and a neon-yellow 7” adapter. This turntable will be packaged with care – based on extensive experience in shipping vintage audio – using a strong box, multiple layers of protective material, and secure support for all components.
