盘子 - 瓷 - 康熙晚期到雍正时期

A Chinese porcelain famille verte plate. China, late Kangxi period (1661-1722) to early Yongzheng period (1725-1735), c. 1720-1725. Decorated in the central roundel with figures in a garden, the border with Rococo-influenced floral decoration, brown-edged rim. The vibrant and lively polychrome enamels used on this plate are green, blue, yellow, aubergine, black outlines, iron red and gilt. As a type of export ware, famille verte largely disappeared after c. 1725, superseded by the (at that time) more fashionable famille rose. The overglaze blue enamels used on this plate were supposedly developed by the Chinese porcelain industry around 1685-90. Lit: The same dish was exhibited in the Famille Verte exhibition 2011/2012 in the Groninger Museum and published in an essay by Jörg, Christiaan, Aziatische Kunst, Famille Verte, 2011, p. 12, pl. 8. The exact same dish as the one stated above was also published in: Toelichtende beschrijving van de verzameling Chineesch en Japansch porselein, Chineesch en Europeesch rood steengoed en aardewerk, aanwezig in het Groningsch Museum, catalogue Groninger Museum, (M.A. de Visser, Groningen, 1930), cat. 17. Dimensions: Diameter 23.5 cm, height 2.7 cm. Condition: Some enamel loss commensurate with age, furthermore in perfect condition. Worldwide registered and insured shipping. #orientalistcollection
