Our latest acquisition of a beryl var. emerald specimen from the Swat Valley, Pakistan, features vivid green crystals with sharp hexagonal geometry. The standout feature is the step-like crystal growth, where successive layers have built up in a striking stair-stepped pattern that advanced collectors greatly value. The emerald crystals display rich color saturation and excellent luster, glowing with intensity under light. The emeralds rest on a contrasting calcite matrix, which enhances the overall aesthetics of the piece, while a tiny presence of pyrite adds extra mineralogical character. This combination of emerald, calcite, and pyrite offers both rarity and visual appeal.
