A delightful pair of solid silver mid-century modernist salt and pepper shakers, each measuring circa 10,2cm in height and together weighing 98g (including the rubber stoppers). Stamped to the underside with maker´s marks of Hugo Grün, Copenhagen, a mark used from 1937-1985. Estimated age: circa 1955. Condition: Overall very good, two miniscule nicks to the corner of one vessel, visible under magnification. No further significant damage or repair to the silver detected, one rubber stopper has a little damage. See pictures for a more complete overview. The original rubber stoppers are a little dry, we recommend treating or replacing. This lot will be carefully packaged and sent by registered and insured mail.
