For Seiko Collectors and Vintage fans, this is a Seiko Quartz 5Y89-0A50 SUS SCF0077N35-6150 Military in condition and is highly sort after due to its unique layout and rarity. The black dial, Arabic numerals markers, multiple arrow and baton hands, and case are in condition. However, the original Seiko leather strap had disintegrated and was discarded. Even though this is an stock, this timepiece was nonetheless, given a deep cleaning and its battery replaced on 26 September 2023. The crown was uncorked to prevent battery drainage. It should be able to operate unhindered until the next battery change, thereby providing the owner peace of mind. This simple yet beautifully shaped SS silver case was also given a deep cleaning while maintaining its super sexy curves and lines. Most age related imperfections were removed without compromising the case shape. The crystal is original and in immaculate condition. It too was given a good rub as well. The unsigned crown is located at the 3H position and is nicely tucked away yet easily accessible. The Date/Day/Hands quickset works as it should by uncorking the crown and adjusting according. The case width and height are approximately 33mm (w/o crown) and 40mm respectively. The lug width is 18mm and the strap can accommodate wrists up to 20cm; hence, this watch is suitable for men and the modern women. The original strap is in bad condition after almost 3 decades of storage. A brand new hi-quality Aviation Bund NATO strap with leather padding is thus provided. The watch is 100% original Seiko components from this particular watch. No parts were replaced with aftermarket parts. Even though the seals and gaskets are present / replaced, this timepiece has not been water-resistant tested due to its age. The pictures provided shows the watch in mint condition because of its condition. The only drawback is the lack of documentation and original box. A nice purposeful carrying case or box will be provided instead.
