This limited edition 18 year old from the island of Jura's eponymous distillery is the final release in a three part series that began with One For The Road in 2016, honouring former Distillery Manager Willie Cochrane, followed by One And All in 2017, raising a toast to the distillery team. This final edition celebrates the entire Diurach community - the name given to Jura islanders and extended to embrace the worldwide Jura community.One For You has been matured for 18 years in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels and enhanced in hand-selected American white oak virgin quarter casks. Bottled at a strength of 52.5% abv, free from chill-filtration and colouring. The nose has sweet mango and pear with honey and vanilla influences. The palate brings white chocolate, almond, caramel and fudge cake. The last in a three part series to celebrate the Diurachs – the Gaelic name for the inhabitants of Jura – this limited-edition 18-year-old has a vibrant, fruity character. Aged in ex-bourbon and new American oak casks, expect bold orchard fruit with a citrus twang alongside the glorious, creamy vanilla that fresh oak brings to the party. Temper that with an 18-year maturation, and you end up with something pretty special.
