A delightful solid silver thimble in its bespoke necessaire, circa 1900, the hinged egg pendant with gilt interior measuring circa 5cm in height and weighing a gross 23g, with miniscule spoll of cotton concealed beneath the thimble. Stamped to the edge with German assay marks for .800 silver, after 1886 and maker´s mark of Lutz & Weiss, Pfrorzheim. Condition: Very good, no significant damages or repairs. Minimal wear commensurate with age. This lot will be carefully packaged and sent by registered and insured mail.
