Dimensions: – 9.5 × 5 cm – 5.8 × 6.5 cm Satsuma ware is one of the finest expressions of Japanese ceramics. Originating from the ancient province of Satsuma (now Kagoshima), it was produced as early as the Edo period (1603–1868) using low-temperature firing, which gives it the characteristic surface with craquelure and vibrant decorations. ---The vases are good condition.
