由白峰窑制作的九谷烧“Reimei”装饰花瓶——柴田博 - 陶瓷 - 日本 - Shōwa period (1926-1989)

Kutani Ware “Reimei” Decorative Vase by Hakuho Kiln – Hiroshi Shibata Ishikawa, Japan Size: Width 18 cm × Height 19 cm Weight: 1.3kg including packaging 1.8 kg Box: Wooden box not included Condition: Excellent. No visible scratches or wear; very clean overall. Due to reflections or slight surface marks, it may appear as though there are scratches, but in fact, there are none at all. The photos were taken both with and without flash, so please use them as a reference to compare how the appearance changes under different lighting conditions. This exquisite Kutani-yaki decorative vase titled “Reimei” (Dawn) was created by Hiroshi Shibata of Hakuho Kiln, based in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan — the birthplace of many of Japan’s most renowned ceramic artists. Hakuho Kiln carries on the distinguished legacy of Kutani ware, a 350-year-old Japanese porcelain tradition celebrated for its refined glazes and luminous color depth. The design of this vase shows clear inspiration from the masterpieces of Tokuda Yasokichi III, a Living National Treasure, whose celebrated Yūsai (color-glaze) technique blends layers of translucent glazes to achieve deep gradations of blue, green, and purple. Hiroshi Shibata of Hakuho Kiln demonstrates the same high level of craftsmanship and artistic sensibility, creating a visual harmony of color and light that rivals Tokuda’s works. The smooth gradation from deep indigo to emerald green evokes the quiet radiance of dawn—perfectly suited to the title “Reimei.” Each piece from Hakuho Kiln is hand-glazed and individually fired, ensuring subtle variations in tone and texture that make every work completely unique. A superb example of contemporary Japanese ceramic artistry. About Japan Antique One of the unique characteristics of Japanese pottery is that even pieces of the same shape can vary dramatically in price—sometimes several times, or even more than ten times—depending on subtle differences in color or pattern. Each work is truly one of a kind, as the same design is never painted twice. The price often reflects how beautiful the buyer finds the piece, or how strongly they feel they must have it, even if it means paying a high price. This is one of the true joys of collecting Japanese antiques. Generally speaking, both the item itself and its original box are more desirable when they are in clean condition. However, in some cases, signs of age such as stains or scratches can actually enhance the sense of history and increase the item’s value. This aspect is unpredictable, even for us. Attention: ・Please take a good look at the photos to confirm the condition of the item. ・We kindly ask you to place a bid only if you are happy with what you see. ・Unfortunately, we are unable to accept returns or refunds for reasons such as a change of mind or if the item does not match your personal expectations. ・Depending on your country of residence, additional duties and import taxes may apply. ・Please check your country's laws to determine if import taxes or duties apply. ・We are not responsible for any costs incurred in importing goods into the buyer's country of residence. ・If the winning bidder decides to cancel/ cancel, the risk, all shipping costs, and the seller's return import taxes are the responsibility of the winning bidder.
