Clairin, traditionally, is never aged. Following the release of the young Clairin Ansyen, a 4-year-old aged distillate is bottled for the second time. Vieux Sajous is the result of blending 12 casks that previously held single malt or rum, enhancing the evolution of Clairin's primary aromas towards an aromatic complexity due to the esterification process.
