Softcover in full vellum binding. Early edition of this didactic poem about agriculture from Angelo Poliziano which he completed in 1483. Comes with an engraved title frame and several elaborately engraved initials. Rubbing, bumping, soiling, and wear to the boards and spine. The title page is fixed with tape in the top left corner, obscuring parts of the illustrated frame. Pen writing on the bottom of the title page. Pen markings on page 38. The spine is a bit soft, and the pages 120 and following are half loose. The last two pages (with the printer and date information, and the colophon engraving) are missing in this volume, but the rest is complete. Little browning and spotting throughout. The text and illustrations are clear, and the binding is a bit soft. Overall, and considering its age, a copy in good condition.
