Burmese amber with extremely rare inclusion from a scientific collection. Vampire crickets (Gryllobencain) are an enigmatic taxon so far only known from Burmese amber. There are nor living relatives. Gryllobencain has been scientifically described as recent as 2022. The species is characterised by extremely elongated 2 pairs of predatory legs which gives it a unique appearance. The species was predatory and most likely feeding on smaller arthropods.
