卖家的描述
Japanese traditional hand carved wooden Noh mask - Shishiguchi獅子口, finely carved with vivid expressions. Made by Shigenori Itsuki茂登 樹 in 1987(Showa.62) Artist name and made time was signed on the backside.
It is used in the role of the lion, the sacred beast ridden by Manjusri Bodhisattva in "Stone Bridge." The lion dance is the highlight of this performance. The face is covered in gold paint, which gives it a slightly different shine, but the entire face is golden. The size of the mouth and the length of the fangs are the largest of any Noh mask, giving it a sense of strength rather than fear.
Artist: Shigenori Itsuki茂登 樹
Made time: 1987(Showa.62)
Dimensions: 20 x 15.5 x 10 cm
Good condition: there are stains and wear off due to aging and using, please also take a look at the listed photos for a reference.
Will be well packaged and shipping by Japan Post in fast delivery.
