The 2020 Sangiovese from Soldera is an undeniable success for the vintage. It certainly shows the depth of fruit associated with a warmer season, but it does so with balanced acidity and structure. The combination is quite stunning. The 2020 vintage very much hinged on producers’ willingness to manicure their vineyards and make strict selections at harvest, all of which Soldera took very seriously. This is a vintage that will provide immense pleasure over a long drinking window.
